In the last twenty years Archaeological Department discovered three Shrine of Buddhist Monastery in the district town of Comilla 60 Km. from the Capital >> These shrine are Roopban , Itakhula and the Central Shrine .Each Shrine has a dominant central shrine few subsidiary shrine and a number of Monastic Cell >> Terra cotta seals copper plate discovered here its original name is supposed to have been Bhava Deva Mohavihara after the 4th King of early Deva dynsaty which Ruled this region during mid 7th to mid 8th century A.D >> The large assemblage of valuable antiquities recovered from excavation in the sites now housed in a Museum built there
